John Gardynik, Pharm.D., MBA
President

Mr. Gardynik is President and General Manager of RxAmerica LLC, a leading Pharmacy Benefits Management provider and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan.

Prior to coming to RxAmerica, Mr. Gardynik was with Rx Innovations, a subsidiary of FHC Health Systems in Norfolk, Virginia, as Senior Vice President of Operations, where he was responsible for operations and business flow. In this capacity, he was instrumental in data warehouse initiatives used to analyze behavioral health care outcomes and costs both from a pharmaceutical care and complete health care perspective. He also was instrumental in implementing risk-based pharmaceutical care programs for public sponsored behavioral health care consumers.

Mr. Gardynik also worked at First Health as Vice President of Pharmacy Benefit Services, where he re-engineered the company's business processes supporting rebate administration and mail-order, and developed new claims adjudication software.

Prior to his employment at First Health, Mr. Gardynik acted as a pharmacoeconomist at GD Searle, and was in several leadership roles at ValueRx (now owned by Express Scripts) and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. John is the author of many articles concerning pharmaceutical care and utilization management and frequently speaks on these topics.

Mr. Gardynik earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy in 1987 from the University of Michigan, where he also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Pharmacy, prior to earning an MBA from the same institution in 1998.



Gary Purk, MBA

Mr. Purk is Chief Operating Officer of RxAmerica. As Chief Operating Officer Mr. Purk will lead the Call Servicing, Clinical and Technology areas.

Prior to coming to RxAmerica, Mr. Purk was with American Express as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations for The Travelers Cheques and Prepaid Services Division where he lead a global team that was responsible for all aspects of consumer and seller servicing. In this capacity, he lead the reengineering and six sigma effort for the Travelers Cheque business unit, initiated several quality and service improvement programs and implemented the servicing network for the roll-out of new prepaid plastic products.

Mr. Purk also served as Vice President at American Stores where he lead the Health 'n Home business unit. Health 'n Home was a home health care retail and distribution business serving individuals, employer groups and government programs. Prior to leading Health 'n Home, Mr. Purk lead several pharmacy profitability, process improvement and systems implementation projects for American Drug Stores, a subsidiary of American Stores.

Prior to American Stores, Mr. Purk was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, Information Technology Group (a start-up technology consulting firm) and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he specialized in information technology and operations improvement projects for Integrated Oil companies, A Nationwide Bakery Company, a Midwest Electric Utility, an Integrated Steel Company, a Steel Distributor and a large Government Agency.

Mr. Purk earned an MBA from The University of Chicago in Finance and Operations in 1990 and a BS in Industrial Engineering from The University of Notre Dame. Mr. Purk serves and has served on a number of community boards in Salt Lake City including United Way, Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors, Catholic Foundation of Utah and The Madeleine Choir School.



Denis Muskat
Chief Financial Officer

Denis Muskat is the Chief Financial Officer of RxAmerica, with responsibilities for Finance and Accounting, Pharmacy Audit Operations and Pharmacy Network Administration.

Having joined our team in September 2004, Mr. Muskat brings a wide range of financial experience to his role. Most recently he was an independent consultant, evaluating financial operations and improving treasury functions at a rapidly growing educational software company prior to their Series C round of venture capital financing.

He has over 15 years of pharmacy benefit management experience having worked with several prominent public and private healthcare organizations. He was the Chief Financial Officer of a $400 million pharmacy distribution business that served the members of the nations' premier advocate for aging in America.

Mr. Muskat is a graduate of Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and state CPA organizations.



Jean Rolando, R.Ph.

Having been with the company since its inception in 1994, Ms. Rolando currently serves as RxAmerica's Chief Information Officer, where she is responsible for operations and I/T areas and strategic direction of the PBM.

Prior to her work at RxAmerica, Ms. Rolando served as Manager of Pharmacy and Professional Relations at Buttrey Food and Drug in Great Falls, Montana, where she was responsible for the sales and marketing, professional pharmacy relations and pharmacy warehousing for 34 pharmacies.

Ms. Rolando has also acted in a number of specialized positions for Skaggs Alpha Beta, where her responsibilities included installing and maintaining pharmacy computer systems and managing retail pharmacy pricing for a national chain of stores.

Ms. Rolando earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Utah 1980.



Mark SantaCroce
Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer for RxAmerica, Mr. SantaCroce is responsible for leading the marketing and sales initiatives as well as providing executive oversight to account services. He directs all activities and services to both current and potential clients of RxAmerica.

Prior to joining RxAmerica in 2007 Mr. SantaCroce served in various organizations, directing health plan and PBM efforts. As President and CEO of the Carolinas for Cigna Healthcare, he directed sales, service, medical management, contracting, underwriting and pricing, with additional responsibilities for revenue and earnings. Prior to joining Cigna, he served as Vice President of sales (East and West Regions) for Medco Health Solutions, providing PBM leadership and team management of both regions.

Mr. SantaCroce previously functioned as Vice President of sales and marketing for Aetna U.S. Healthcare, providing regional leadership to a sales and service organization of 300 employees. As a District Manager for Aetna, he also coordinated sales and account management for the Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania markets. Additional experience in Mr. Santa Croce’s background includes serving in sales for Xerox.

Mr. SantaCroce received his bachelor’s degree at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of the North Carolina Association of Health Plans, on the North Carolina Health Insurance Innovations Commission and with various task forces and alliances. He is an editorial board member of the Self Insurance Institute of America.



Joseph LaPine, R.Ph.
Vice President, Compliance and Development

Mr. LaPine is the Vice President of Compliance and Development, where his responsibilities include monitoring our contracts and regulatory affairs. In addition to these responsibilities Mr. LaPine coordinates all activities related to licensure and regulatory review.

During his tenure with RxAmerica, Mr. LaPine helped establish the RxAmerica pharmacy network of over 55,000 participating pharmacies, develop a pharmacy network reimbursement strategy, and coordinate with RxAmerica's Clinical Services on cost, formulary and disease state management programs. Mr. LaPine has also been responsible for RxAmerica's Sales and Marketing teams.

Prior to working with RxAmerica, Mr. LaPine was the director of Managed Care Marketing for American Drugs Stores where he was responsible for creating and managing the Managed Care initiative, which was a key growth strategy for the company.

Mr. LaPine has been with RxAmerica since it began in 1994, and has over 25 years of industry experience.

Mr. LaPine earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Utah in 1977, and is also an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, and the National Association of Prescription Drug Programs.



Todd Meek, JD
Vice President, Insurance Based Operations

Mr. Meek is Vice President of Insurance Based Operations for RxAmerica.

Prior to joining RxAmerica, Mr. Meek was President and Chief Executive Officer of Summerlin Life and Health Insurance Company, a regional insurer. After successfully licensing the company in multiple states, he was responsible for business and product development. Mr. Meek worked to develop provider profiling reporting and benchmarking criteria to assess quality of care and outcome based performance measures. Mr. Meek was also President and CEO of Summerlin’s sister HMO company, NevadaCare, where he managed operations and was responsible for several plan acquisitions.

Mr. Meek also worked at Health Management Alliance Association, a Hawaii mutual benefit society as its Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel. While in Hawaii, Mr. Meek was responsible for operations, network development, brokerage distribution and 24-hour coverage initiatives.

Prior to HMAA, Mr. Meek was associate counsel at National American Life Insurance Company of Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for regulatory compliance and worked closely with the carrier’s third party administrators regarding benefits and contracting.

Mr. Meek received his Juris Doctorate in 1988, after earning his undergraduate degree in Economics from California State University, Fresno. Mr. Meek is a member of the Association of Life Insurance Counsel and an active member of the state bar associations of California and Hawaii. He is a past President of the Hawaii Association of Health Underwriters and is a frequent speaker on a wide range of health insurance topics.



Kenneth R. McGrory, M.D.

Dr. McGrory is responsible for the clinical departments of RxAmerica, which include RxAmerica Home Delivery, Specialty, Clinical Programs and prior authorizations.

Prior to coming to RxAmerica, Dr. McGrory worked for over 20 years in emergency medicine and urgent care medicine in Utah, Georgia and Louisiana. He has a broad base of experience dealing with a wide spectrum of clinical practice.

Dr. McGrory worked for the University of Utah Healthnet, Talbert Medical and FHP in Utah. Prior to that he was an emergency physician at Lanier Park Hospital in Gainesville, Georgia. He also taught college-level courses in the health care field at Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. McGrory received his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina and his postgraduate training with Tulane University in New Orleans.
