June 23, 2007: UCare Minnesota selects RxAmerica to provide PBM and Medicare Part D services
UCare Minnesota is Minnesota's fourth largest health plan serving more than 123.000 members in 80 of Minnesota’s 87 counties. The second Largest HMO in Minnesota, UCare was founded in 1984 by the Department of Family Practice and Community Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Working with health care providers, community organizations, and others throughout Minnesota, UCare creates innovative health coverage plans to help meet the needs of:
- Medicare-eligible individuals
- Individuals and families enrolled in Minnesota Health Care Programs, such as MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance
- Disabled adults with special health care needs
