What plans can my pharmacy participate in?
Question - What plans can my pharmacy participate in? Answer - Your RxAmerica Pharmacy Network Agreement covers the majority of the RxAmerica plans we manage. However, there are some plans that have special requirements and require an additional signed RxAmerica addendum in order for your pharmacy to participate. To find out whether your pharmacy can participate in these networks, please contact us either through our Help Desk, e-mail, or in writing.
Question - What BIN number should I use? Answer - RxAmerica utilizes two BIN numbers. The BIN number for the majority of RxAmerica programs is 610473. RxAmerica uses a separate BIN number for those plans associated with the Seabury & Smith Third Party Administrator. The BIN number used in this case is 601475. Question - Does RxAmerica use Processor Control Numbers for claim submission? Answer - Certain customers of RxAmerica require that we use a processor control number. If a processor control number is required for a particular customer, it is listed on the plan information sheets.
Question - How can I become a pharmacy provider for RxAmerica?

Question - If my pharmacy changes ownership, do I need to recontract with RxAmerica? Answer - Yes. If your business changes hands, you will need to recontract with RxAmerica. To assure a smooth transition and that the new owner will be able to serve RxAmerica members on an uninterupted basis, please notify us in writing thirty days prior to the transfer of ownership. At that point, we will initiate the recontracting process so that you can continue to serve RxAmerica members.
Question - How many pharmacies are in the RxAmerica network? Answer - The RxAmerica network consists of over 55,000 pharmacies nationwide. These include chains and independents alike, and serve most every community throughout the United States. |
