![]() ![]() Counterfeit Lipitor Recall May 27, 2003 - On Friday, May 23, 2003, the FDA announced a voluntary recall by Albers Medical Distributors for three lots (20722V, 04132V and 16942V) of the cholesterol-lowering agent Lipitor. The 90-tablet bottles have labeling that indicated that they were repackaged by MED-PRO, Inc. of Lexington, Nebraska. This is NOT a Class I recall.
