RxAmerica among Utah's top revenue growth companies
PR Newswire - October 22, 2004 - SALT LAKE CITY - Competing with over 10,000 eligible companies, RxAmerica, a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), ranked ninth on Mountain West Venture Group's prestigious list of Utah's "Top Revenue Growth" companies for 2004.
"The continued growth of RxAmerica is possible because of our loyal clients, many of whom are thriving in these economically challenging times, our dedicated employees, and our ability to lower prescription costs with client-specific programs," said RxAmerica President John Gardynik. "Along with our revenue growth, we have increased the number of programs we offer, added talented employees and expanded our corporate offices. We are a growing company with plans to further accelerate our success."
The Mountain West Venture Group created the "Utah 100 Awards" 10 years ago as a program designed to recognize Utah companies that are contributing to the state's economic growth and vitality. The 2004 winners were announced at a luncheon held at the Grand America Hotel on October 21. Winning companies received an award of recognition presented by Senator Robert Bennett.
The Utah 100 companies represent a broad cross-section from almost all industries in Utah, including healthcare, information technology, biomedical and bio-technical, retail, construction, and financial services. The rankings are based on the pace of revenue growth over the previous five years. To be eligible for consideration in the Utah 100, a company must be Utah-based and have at least five years of operating history.
